What is Fancy Women's Cycling Tour?
Since 2013, the Fancy Women's Cycling Tour has been taking place on the 3rd Sunday of September every year with thousands of participants in hundreds of cities, to show that everyone can ride the bike, even very well, and as if that is not enough, they ride fancy.
The visibility of women is the key to claiming rights in the public sphere. Cycling is an excellent way for women to become visible in society and interact with the city in particular.
The Fancy Women's Cycling Tour is an opportunity to remember that cycling liberates, to encourage more women to choose bicycle transportation in cities, to celebrate the world car-free cities day and to ask our mayor for a safe bicycle transportation infrastructure.
The Fancy Women's Cycling Tour is an independent grassroots movement and cannot be organized by institutions, companies or associations.
This event is organized wholeheartedly by volunteer women.
